Atlants & UnderPressure to CIS Minor closed qualifier

Atlants and UnderPressure have secured berths at the CIS Minor closed qualifier after topping the first open qualifier.

The first open qualifier took place over the last two days, with nearly 200 teams in attendance of the single-elimination, best-of-one bracket.

In the last two rounds of the qualifier, UnderPressure, a team combined around veterans Sergey "⁠starix⁠" Ischuk, Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin, and Dmitry "⁠hooch⁠" Bogdanov, defeated LAN DODGERS in overtime and clinched their spot in the next stage with a best-of-three victory over DreamEaters.

Atlants originally lost to PUGSTAR5 in the quarter-finals, but they received a default win after the organizers disqualified the latter team due to Egor "⁠fearfox⁠" Levichev being under 16 years old. Afterward, the team around Vadim "⁠Polt⁠" Tsyrov beat Unique in the semis with ease.
